GridSafe Systems LLC ("GridSafe," "we," "us," or "our") is a veteran-owned technology and real estate services company incorporated in the State of New Jersey. We operate the GridSafe app platform, The Network by GridSafe Systems real estate wholesale operation, and all associated websites, forms, and digital services (collectively, the "Services").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you access or use our Services. It applies to all users of our mobile application, websites located at gridsafe.tech and associated subdomains, and any other digital product or service we operate.

Plain English Summary: We are committed to your privacy. We collect only what we need to operate our services. We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your information with advertisers. We are especially protective of any data related to minors.

By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our Services immediately.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, information collected automatically when you use our Services, and in some cases, information from third-party sources.

Information You Provide Directly
  • Full name, email address, phone number, and mailing address when you register an account or submit a form
  • Property information including address, condition, financial details, and photos or videos when submitted via our seller intake forms
  • Buyer preferences including target markets, price ranges, property types, and financing information submitted via our buyer intake forms
  • Payment information processed through our third-party payment processors (we do not store full payment card numbers)
  • Communications you send to us, including emails, support requests, and feedback
  • Access code information (GRIDVET, GRIDAD, GRIDFR, GRIDSAR) used to verify eligibility for community pricing
Information Collected Automatically
  • Device information including device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information
  • Log data including IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent, and referring URLs
  • App usage data including features accessed, session duration, and interaction events
  • Location data only if you expressly grant permission through your device settings; this can be revoked at any time
Information We Do Not Collect
  • We do not collect or transmit data processed by the Ghost AI engine — all Ghost AI inference runs entirely on your device
  • We do not collect biometric data
  • We do not collect Social Security Numbers or government identification numbers
  • We do not build advertising profiles or behavioral tracking datasets

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to operate, maintain, and improve our Services. Specific uses include:

  • Creating and managing your account and verifying your identity
  • Processing buyer registrations and matching buyers to available property deals
  • Processing seller submissions and facilitating connections with cash buyers in our network
  • Communicating with you about your account, submitted properties, or deal activity via phone, text, or email based on your stated preferences
  • Providing customer support and responding to inquiries
  • Sending transactional notifications directly related to your use of the Services
  • Monitoring and improving the security, performance, and reliability of our platform
  • Complying with applicable laws, regulations, and legal obligations
  • Verifying eligibility for community access codes and associated pricing

We do not use your data for advertising. GridSafe Systems does not serve ads, does not allow advertisers to target you through our platform, and does not use your data to build advertising profiles for third parties.

Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

With Your Consent

When you submit a seller form or buyer registration, you expressly consent to us sharing your relevant information with vetted members of The Network's buyer or seller pool for the purpose of facilitating real estate transactions.

Service Providers

We work with a limited number of third-party vendors who assist us in operating our Services, including hosting providers, email delivery services, and payment processors. These vendors are contractually bound to use your data only to perform services on our behalf.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your personal information is transferred.

Section 05
Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

  • Account data is retained for the duration of your active account plus 24 months following account closure
  • Seller submission data is retained for 36 months to support transaction records and legal compliance
  • Buyer registration data is retained for 24 months from the date of submission or last activity
  • Communication records are retained for 24 months
  • Log and usage data is retained for 12 months

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the address listed in Section 12. Deletion requests will be processed within 45 days.

Data Security

GridSafe Systems implements commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

  • All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols
  • Sensitive data is encrypted at rest on our servers
  • Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis
  • Ghost AI processing occurs entirely on your local device — no AI conversation data is transmitted to our servers
  • We conduct periodic security reviews and maintain incident response procedures

Important: No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. In the event of a data breach, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

Section 07
Your Rights — California (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you specific rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to Know: Request disclosure of what personal information we have collected about you
  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions
  • Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale: GridSafe Systems does not sell personal information
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: Limit our use to only that necessary to perform the services you requested

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 12. We will respond within 45 days.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our websites may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate core website functionality and improve user experience. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

  • Essential Cookies: Required for the website to function, including session management and security tokens
  • Analytics Cookies: Used to understand how visitors interact with our site in aggregate using privacy-respecting tools
  • No Advertising Cookies: We do not use cookies to track you across other websites or serve targeted advertisements

You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences. Our mobile application does not use cookies.

Section 09
Children's Privacy — COPPA Compliance

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use our Services or submit any personal information to us.

GridSafe Systems is committed to full compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Our platform is designed for and directed solely to adults aged 18 and older.

Our Child Safety Commitments
  • We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from any person under the age of 13
  • We do not market our Services to children or design features intended to appeal to minors
  • Our Ghost AI field companion is designed exclusively for adult use cases not appropriate for minors
  • We do not knowingly share children's data with any third party for any purpose

If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take immediate steps to delete that information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at the address listed in Section 12.

Section 10
Third-Party Services

Our Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites or applications not operated by GridSafe Systems. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those services. Current third-party service categories we may use include:

  • Payment Processing: Handled by PCI-compliant third-party processors. We do not store full payment card information
  • Cloud Hosting: Our web infrastructure is hosted on third-party cloud platforms with their own security programs
  • Email Delivery: Transactional emails may be delivered through third-party email service providers
  • Analytics: Privacy-respecting tools that anonymize data and do not sell it

GridSafe Systems does not integrate with any social media advertising platforms, retargeting services, or data broker networks.

Section 11
Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date, notify registered users via email, and display a prominent notice on our website for at least 30 days.

Your continued use of our Services after the effective date of any updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. The most current version will always be available at gridsafe.tech/privacy.
